For new applicants who have never owned a CIDB Green Card, you are required to attend the SICW (Safety Induction Course for Workers) for 1 day (6-8 hours) before you can register for the card.

SICW Course Exemptions
Holders of the following safety certificates are exempted from the SICW course:
- • NIOSH Passport
- • Oil & Gas Safety Passport
- • Construction SHE Passport
- • Equivalent safety certificate recognised by CIDB
* For cards that have expired for more than 10 years, the course must be retaken.
