Contractors who have met the paid-up capital and work experience requirements can apply for a CIDB contractor license grade upgrade.
Grade Upgrade Requirements
Paid-up Capital
The company paid-up capital must meet the minimum requirements of the grade applied for.
Work Experience
The company needs to show a record of successfully completed projects at the current grade.
Technical Director
The technical director must have qualifications and experience appropriate to the grade applied for.
Documents Required
- Copy of current contractor license
- Audited financial statements (latest)
- Bank confirmation letter showing sufficient capital
- Employment declaration form — list of completed projects
- Technical director qualification certificate
- Latest SSM certificate copy
- Support letter from clients (if available)
