There are two main methods for shipping a car to Sabah, Sarawak, and Peninsular Malaysia — RORO (Roll-On Roll-Off) and Container. Each method has its own advantages.
RORO Shipping
The RORO method uses specialised ships where vehicles are driven on and off the ship. This is the most popular and fastest method.
- • Duration: 7 — 10 working days
- • Goods in car: NOT allowed
- • Advantage: Faster and lower cost
- • Suitable for: Cars, motorcycles, vans
Container Shipping
The vehicle is loaded into a container along with other goods. Suitable if you want to ship your belongings at the same time.
- • Duration: 30 — 45 working days
- • Goods in car: ALLOWED
- • Advantage: Can load goods together
- • Suitable for: House moving, large items
Shipping Procedure
Contact us to confirm the ship schedule and pricing.
Prepare documents — copy of IC, vehicle registration card, insurance, and bank release letter (if applicable).
Make payment via online transfer or bank transfer.
Send the vehicle to the designated port on the agreed date.
Wait for delivery — we will notify you when the vehicle arrives.
Collect your vehicle at the destination port with your identification documents.
