Is a police report required?

No, under the latest CIDB regulations, a police report is not required for card replacement.

How long does the replacement process take?

A temporary pass will be issued within 4 working days. A new physical card will be posted within 60 working days.

First replacement: RM120, second: RM240, third and subsequent: RM360.

If the card is not active in the CIDB system, you will need to renew the card first before applying for a replacement.

For cards that have expired for more than 10 years, you will need to retake the SICW course.

• Card status must be active in the CIDB system (minimum 3 months before expiry).
