Since 1 June 2015, all individuals involved in construction work must be registered with CIDB and hold a valid Green Card. This means you're covered by the CIDB Group Construction Personnel Takaful Plan in case of a site accident.
This guide explains the 7 steps to register for a new CIDB Green Card online through RentakaBiz.com.
How to Register CIDB Green Card Online
Step 1: Visit RentakaBiz.com
Go to RentakaBiz.com. On the main page, click "CIDB Green Card Services" to start your registration.
Step 2: Select Application Type
Choose your worker category:
- Malaysian citizen — Click "Local Workers"
- Foreign worker — Click "Foreign Workers"
Enter your full name and phone number (starting with 60). Select "CIDB Green Card Registration" and click "Register Now!"
Step 3: Complete the Registration Form
Fill in all required information accurately:
Cardholder Information:
- Full name and IC number
- Mobile number and email address
- Card delivery address
- Gender, marital status, religion, and race
- Upload a copy of your IC (front and back)
Heir Information:
- Full name and IC number of your heir
- Heir's phone number and address
- Relationship (e.g., spouse, parent, sibling)
Employer Status:
- Working (same employer)
- Working (change employer)
- Self-employed
Important: Your application will only be processed if all information is accurate and complete.
Step 4: Choose Registration Period & Payment
Select the course state, training location, and your card period:
- Course + 1 Year — RM 150 ~ RM 200
- Course + 2 Years — RM 185 ~ RM 235
- Course + 3 Years — RM 235 ~ RM 285
- Course + 4 Years — RM 275 ~ RM 325
- Course + 5 Years — RM 310 ~ RM 350

Choose your payment method: Online Banking (FPX) via ToyyibPay, or manual bank transfer.
Step 5: Make Payment via Online Banking (FPX)
Select "Online Banking (FPX)" and complete the payment. A payment receipt will be sent to your email.

Step 6: Attend the SICW Course (New Members)
If you've never registered for a CIDB Green Card before, you must attend the mandatory SICW course:
- Duration: 6–8 hours per session
- Starts at 8:00 AM with two break sessions
- You'll receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completion
- Register 3–5 days before the course date with full payment
Exempted from SICW? If you hold any of these certificates/cards, you don't need to take the SICW course:

Step 7: Receive Your CIDB Green Card
After completing the course and registration, CIDB will produce and post your Green Card to the address you provided. This takes approximately 60 working days.
